i've been in a reading funk, but several years ago i read "the widow's war" after meeting the author. we were vacationing in cape cod and she was at a bookstore and introduced herself after we got into a discussion about historical fiction. i enjoyed the book.
always on the lookout for new books, i've only read one of the six you posted. i'll have to look for the rest.
